Marigold terms.

These terms govern your use of Marigold (the app), published by RedFoxApps (we, us). By installing or using the app you agree to them and to our privacy policy. You must be 13 or older.

Wellness use, not medical advice

Marigold is a wellness tracker. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Predictions are estimates based on what you log and can be wrong, especially for irregular cycles. Marigold is not a method of birth control and must not be used to avoid or plan a pregnancy on its own. Talk to a doctor or qualified health professional about any health concern, and get help right away if you feel unwell.

Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

Acceptable use

• Do not copy, modify or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
• Do not try to unlock paid features without buying them.
• Do not use the app to break the law or harm others.

Your data

Your data is stored on your phone and belongs to you. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for backing up your data. If you lose your phone or delete the app without a backup, we cannot recover your data because we never receive a copy. Backups made through Google or iCloud depend on those services.

Purchases

Some tools are planned as an optional Marigold Plus purchase (monthly, yearly or one-time). Prices and trial terms are shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play before you buy. Purchases are billed by Apple or Google under their terms, and refunds are handled by the store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you cancel in your store account. You can restore a purchase on another device signed in to the same store account. Features that were free are never moved behind Plus, and data you logged in a Plus tool stays yours if Plus ends.

Updates and availability

We may update, change or discontinue the app or parts of it. We aim to give notice of significant changes where we can.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from relying on a prediction. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be excluded, or liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

App store terms

If you downloaded Marigold from the App Store, these terms are between you and RedFoxApps, not Apple. RedFoxApps is responsible for the app and its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.
