Voxel Blaster is an upcoming free-to-play puzzle game for Android, with iPhone planned, in which players tap color cannons to blast the matching blocks off a spinning voxel toy and reveal the wooden toy underneath. It will contain ads and optional in-app purchases and is published by RedFoxApps.
A crusted toy made of small colored blocks spins slowly on a museum pedestal. Pick a cannon, send it into position and blast away the blocks of its own color, one layer at a time, until the clean wooden toy shows through. There is nothing to aim, so the puzzle is in choosing which cannon to use and when.
- One-thumb, portrait puzzle with levels that take one to two minutes
- Tap a cannon to put it in position in front of the toy; it fires only at blocks of its own color that it can actually reach
- Blocks are removed layer by layer, so buried colors only become targets once the layer above them is gone
- Plan your order: if every position is taken and no cannon has a target, the level jams
- Boosters such as Extra Slot, Shuffle, Mega Blast and Pause Spin help when you are stuck
- Every level is checked so that a winning order exists
- Free to play, with ads and optional in-app purchases, and it plays offline
